\tYour upbringing was less than savory compared to some, you were, for the most part raised in the streets. From a young age you were taught the hard was that the world is unfair, losing your parents would only strengthen you, on your lifelong quest for revenge. You along with the other street rats fought over territory, beggars would often come to blows for the opportunity to plead for food in the nobler districts.\n\n\tYou learned at an early age how to fight dirty, move nimbly, and analyze and use your opponents weaknesses against them. One day, in the Pearl District a particularly large scuffle broke out, ending when the city guard came causing the urchins to flee the scene. You were the most unlucky, or lucky, depending on how you see it. As you were being dragged off by the guard, a known, and wealthy noble took custody of, making you into their ward. You thought this would be a new beginning, but life is hard, the world unfair. The took you in because of your talent of theiving, lying, and deceit.\n\n\tThis noble ran a criminal ring, a notorious cartel of smugglers, assassins, and poachers. \tEarly on in your life it was discovered you had the ability to access arcane powers, as much as a gift, as a curse, magic is rare and is feared by both kings and slaves alike. Since as long as you can remember, you've been raised in the Arcane Collegium, a building as old as the land itself, where all mages, young and old, are under the constant, watchful eye of the Mageguard, an order dedicated to preventing magic from ever harming the outside world.\n\n\tAside from this prison-like confinement, the Mageguard rarely enter the building, mages are given free roam of the building, here mages learn, practice, and create their own spells, on rare occasion a well-learned, aged Mage is allowed chosen by the Mageguard and the collective of mages to be named Grand Magus, the political representative of the Collegium.\n\n\t\tThis upbringing has given you access to the vast libraries of the College, by your early teens you have become as smart as grown man, maybe smarter. Your natural talents are also something to be amazed by. By the age of eleven you we're capable of casting spells that even people five years your senior couldn't conjure.
